Iontotherapy
Iontotherapy combines galvanisation and inserting the medication through the skin with the use of current. The ions contained in the medication penetrate patient's organism through the oil and sweat glands. After the ions have penetrated the organism, they gather between corium and subcutaneous tissue, from where the medication is then distributed in the whole organism by cardiovascular system. During this therapy a patient may feel slight tingling sensation. The first procedure lasts about 10 min, second -15 min. The next may last from 15 to 20 min. They are carried out daily or every second day, in a course of 10 - 20 regulation.
DIADYNAMIC
Bernard's diadynamic currents have the ability of dilation of blood vessels. Increasing vasomotor activity, better perfusion (blood supply) of tissue - and at the same time improving nutritive processes and tissue metabolism -- play a very important role in treatment of many diseases. Diadynamic is essential in treatment of traumatic oedema and peripheral circulation disorders. It also acts as analgesic and stimulation. First procedures are performed twice a day, then up to 5 daily until pain disappears. Then the procedures are continued, 4 every second day. The total time of procedure is 8 minutes.
Electrostymulator ST 43
It is a two-way electrostymulator used for electrodiagnosis and therapy. Iontotherapy and diadynamic can also be performed with the use of this apparatus. The number of procedures within one rehabilitation cycle depends on the doctor's indication.
