Manual therapy as a practical element of medicine is used for diagnosis and treatment of various motor system disorders, especially spinal cord.
A therapist evaluates the appearance and consistency of soft tissues, range and quality
of movement of bone fragments as well as character of resistance during motor system elements' dislocations.
A specialist examines passive movements of spinal cord and evaluates the responses of motor system on the harmful factors. Manual therapy includes therapeutic massage, piezometric muscle relaxation and relaxing or strengthening exercises of various muscle parts of the whole body.
